... though honestly, I never got into that particular series of his. Which reminds me, I don't own any of the Myth books right now...
I'm glad people enjoyed the LOLgeeks. They were fun to do, even if some of them are decidedly non-canon (like, honestly, I'm going on record as saying that I doubt Naomi's callous enough to send someone an empty box of cookies)
I'm trying to get some information on the con front... but I do have my sights set on one. More details as they come; watch this space here!
I've been getting excited about cons, in part to listening to the Webcomics Weekly podcasts. Between the podcasts and the accompanying forum, I've been getting a few ideas about what to bring and do at a con.
Plus - unrelated to cons - I got the best tip ever from the WW podcast. I own a Wacom tablet, but I've never liked trying to draw or ink with it. It didn't feel right to my hands, it was hard trying to control it, etc. And this is a cheap tablet (USB Graphire2, which gives you an idea as to how long I've had this thing), so upgrading to another tablet when I didn't like using the cheap one seemed a little... odd. The tip? Put a piece of paper on your tablet, then use the stylus on that. ZOMG! My hand doesn't stick to the tablet anymore! I feel I have more control over it! This is awesome! I don't think I'll be moving to all-digital drawing or inking any time soon, but it's nice to have a better option now.
